Within our unit on Electrical Circuits and Magnetism, some students created a miniature room (a dream bedroom of sorts) that had to be to scale and include an electrical source created by the student. They could not use a factory made source of lighting in the room, such as a flashlight, so had to wire lightbulbs and batteries on their own to creatively light their room.
This one was made out of a box, clay, wood, popsicle sticks and carpet.
More Science PBL projects about Animal Adaptation that includes research on two factual animals combined into one fictitious creature. They had to do massive research in both books and on the internet before creating these 3-dimensional habitats. A persuasive business letter was also written and typed up to go along with their presentation of this project.
More photographs of this project requirement of Animal Adaptation 3-D dioramas are on the previous page under "Science Projects".
