I see a football Halloween is coming
I play football in the Fall Vampires walk streets at midnight
Football is a blast! Don't get bitten
by Tylor by Elizabeth
See squirrels scamper home The leaves are falling
Geese fly south for Fall now From Autumn trees with color
Bears start hibernate Joy and happiness
by Brooklynn by Kennedy
Cold and flu season Big leaf, small leaf, good
please wear your winter jacket Beautiful colors on leaves
try not to get sick Winter is coming
by Rylan by Dawson

On Constitution Day, we created poetry after a wonderful discussion about what it meant to be an American.
I am an American
I wonder about the war
I hear people talking
I see bells
I want freedom
I am an American
I pretend that there is no war
I feel safe in my house
I touch my mom's arm
I worry about the soldiers
I cry about the soldiers that don't come home
I am an American
I understand about the war
I say freedom
I dream that the war is no more
I try not to think of the war
I hope that the war will end
I am an American

Clerihew Poetry
My teacher Mary Clare
Her artwork I just want to stare
She writes a really good rhyme
She has a bell that has a good chime.
